A Transparent Lock Screen for your Windows | ClearLock

ClearLock : a transparent windows screen locker.
▶ Light weight and no need to install. Just download and run it.
▶ Below are the download links:
Even though we ride non-polluting bicycles to save mankind, we lock our bikes because we can’t trust mankind. This applies to computers too. Once we want to leave our desk, we always prefer locking our system till we return.
A lot of us would quickly press “Windows key + L” on keyboard and lock the system.
But to greedy humans, all nature is insufficient. May be this is the reason we always look out for something more every time. So, here is that something more you were looking for. It’s called ClearLock.
What is ClearLock ?
ClearLock is a windows application aimed to make the users lock their computer screen while still allowing them to see what is going on. That means people can view what happening on the desktop but they can’t use it unless they have a password.
The lock has pretty awesome GUI – 3D appearance ,which everyone would certainly like.
Whats new with the latest version ?
  • Added option to disable sound effects
  • Set password dialog is now always on top
  • Optimized .ini routines
  • Fixed bug with killing off taskman
How to get it working ?
1> Download the file and run it. No need to install.
2> For the first time, it will ask you for a password, once you have entered the password, it is saved.
What if someone tries to enter incorrect password ?
If someone enters an invalid password for 3 times, he/she will not be allowed to enter the password for the next 5 minutes. And, when you access the system after entering the correct password, it shows the number of invalid login attempts as well.
What if I forget the password ?
If you fail to remember the password, don’t panic just go to application folder and delete the .ini file from there. Next time when you will click on the application, you can add a new password.
How to change the password ?
To reset your password, simply delete the .ini file present in the application’s folder.
Well from where can I download this tool ?
OS Support
The tool is completely supported on Windows XP, Vista, & 7 (32 & 64 bits)
